I am infinite like space and this world is like a
jar. Knowing this, you need not renounce or
accept this world, but be one with it.(6.1)

I am like the ocean and this visible world is
like waves. Knowing this, there is nothing to
renounce or accept, but be one with it.(6.2)

This entire world is imagined in me, just like
silver in the sea-shell. Knowing this, there is
nothing to renounce or accept, but be one
with it.(6.3)

I am in all beings and all beings are in me.
Knowing this, there is nothing to renounce

                                            (with English connotation)
Ashtavakra says :

You are pure and not attached to anything, then
what is there to renounce for you. Forgetting your
connection with unreal world, be one with your Self.(5.1)

As the bubbles arise in the sea, similarly this world
originates from your Self. Knowing this, you
become one with your Self.(5.2)

This world visible to your eyes is un-real and
insubstantial. You are pure and this world does not
exist in you, like the snake imagined in the rope.
Knowing this, you be one with your Self.(5.3)

Equal in pleasure and pain, equal in life and death,
and equal in hope and disappointment, you are
complete and, therefore, be one with Self.(5.4)

                                            (with English connotation)
Ashtavakr says :

The wise man, who knows Self, understands the
enjoyment of the world as sport and he cannot be
compared to the deluded person who is bearing
the burden of the world.(4.1)

Even after achieving the state, which Indra etc.
yearn for, the wise man does not feel any joy.(4.2)

The wise man knowing Self remains unattached with
good or evil, just like smoke visible in the sky but
not a part of the sky.(4.3)

Who can prevent from living in present as per his
wishes to the wise man, who has perceived the
whole world as part of his Self.(4.4)

From Brahma to the grass and among all four
categories of beings, the only person who knows
Self can be devoid of desire or aversion.(4.5)

Rare is the person who knows the Self as One
and Master of the world, and who knows this
is not afraid of anything in the world.(4.6)
