अष्टावक्र गीता - भाव पद्यानुवाद (पच्चीसवीं कड़ी)

                 बारहवां अध्याय (१२.५-१२.८)
                                            (with English connotation)
आश्रम अनाश्रम, धर्म नियम से, अपने को मैं रहित मानता|
इन सब का परिणाम देख कर, अपने स्वरुप में स्वयं धारता||(१२.५)

When I look at the various stages of life and
observe the rules accepted and prohibited by
mind, I stay as I am and I am established in Self.(12.5)

अज्ञान जनित अनुष्ठान कर्मों से, अपने को मैं मुक्त जानकर|
अपने स्वरुप में स्थित रहता, तत्व का सम्यक रूप जानकर||(१२.६)

Being aware that the performance of actions and
rituals is due to ignorance, I remain liberated from
the same. Knowing and recognising the truth
properly, I remain as I am and established in Self.(12.6)

करते हैं चिंतन अचिंत्य का, लेकिन चिंता से ग्रसित है रहता|
चिंतन भाव से मुक्त है हो कर, अपने स्वरुप में स्थित रहता||(१२.७)

While thinking about the unthinkable, we in fact
remain engrossed in thought only. Therefore, by
renouncing that thought, I remain established in Self.(12.7)

जो ज्ञानी आचरण यह करता, पूर्ण रूप वह मुक्त है होता|
जिसका ऐसा स्वभाव है होता, पूर्ण रूप वह मुक्त है होता||(१२.८)

One who behaves and acts thus is completely
liberated. One, who is of such nature, is fully
liberated.(12.8)

अष्टावक्र गीता - भाव पद्यानुवाद (चौवीसवीं कड़ी)

                                   बारहवां  अध्याय (१२.१-१२.४)
                                            (with English connotation)
राजा जनक कहते हैं :
King Janak says :

मैं निरपेक्ष हूँ तन के कर्मों से, फिर वाणी से निरपेक्ष हुआ हूँ|
अब चिंता से निरपेक्ष है होकर, मैं स्थिति अपने रुप हुआ हूँ||(१२.१)

I became indifferent to all activities performed by
body and thereafter became indifferent to all the
activities of speech. Now being indifferent to all
the worries, I am peacefully established in Self.(12.1)

मैं अनासक्त हूँ सब विषयों से, आत्म दृष्टि का विषय न होता|   
मैं निश्छल एकाग्र ह्रदय से, अपने स्वरुप में बस स्थित होता||(१२.२)

I am unattached to all the subjects of sound and
senses and I know that the Self is not an object of
sight. Therefore, with my focussed and undisturbed
mind, I am established in my Self.(12.2)

असत्य ज्ञान विक्षेप है करता, उसको दूर समाधि है करता|
यह स्वाभाविक नियम मान कर, अपने रूप में स्थिर रहता||(१२.३)

Being distracted by wrong perceptions, one
strives for mental stillness. Knowing this as
natural pattern, I am established in my Self.(12.3)

त्याग ग्रहण से मैं विहीन हो, सुख दुःख से मैं मुक्त हूँ रहता|
अब मैं जैसा हूँ वैसा रह कर, अपने स्वरुप में स्थिर रहता||(१२.४)

Renouncing the feelings of rejection and acceptance,
I am liberated from pleasure and pain. Therefore,
staying as I am, I am established in Self.(12.4)

अष्टावक्र गीता - भाव पद्यानुवाद (तेईसवीं कड़ी)

                                    ग्यारहवां  अध्याय (११.५-११.८)
                                            (with English connotation)
चिंता सभी दुखों का कारण, जिसको इसका बोध है होता| 
सुखी, शांत, चिंता विहीन वह, सर्व कामना मुक्त है होता||(११.५)

Worries are the main cause of sufferings and
those who know it are happy, peaceful and free
from worries and are liberated from all desires(11.5)


न मैं तन हूँ, न यह तन मेरा, ज्ञान स्वरुप अपने को मानता|
विस्मृत कर कृत अकृत कर्मों को, जीवन मुक्ति प्राप्त है करता||(११.६)

I am neither body, nor this body is mine. I am pure
knowledge. One, who knows it, gets liberated in
life and forgets the acts done or not done.(11.6)

मैं ब्रह्मा से त्रण तक हूँ सब में, जो यह है निश्चित रूप जानता|
निर्विकल्प, शुचि, शांत वो ज्ञानी, है आसक्ति रहित हो जाता||(११.७)

Knowing definitely that I alone exist from Brahma
to blade of grass, one becomes free from desires,
becomes pure, peaceful and un-attached to everything.(11.7)

नाना आश्चर्य युक्त जग मिथ्या, जिसको इसका बोध है होता|
इच्छा रहित, शुद्ध वह ज्ञानी, परम शांति को प्राप्त है होता||(११.८)

This world full of many wonders does not exist.
One who knows it becomes free from desires,
becomes pure and attains eternal peace.(11.8)
